iPhone 6s randomly reboots after iOS 9.3.5 update?

Yesterday I updated to iOS 9.3.5, and today it randomly rebooted 3 times. What it does first is that when it gets a phone call or notification, it turns to a colored static screen, fades out and reboots. It is getting very annoying, I already have thoughts of downgrading.

I am new to this, so I don't know where I should post this. Forgive me if I posted this in the wrong community.

You posted in the right place... 🙂

Try holding down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds until the Apple logo appears. You will not lose anything.

If a restart does not help try a System Restore. First backup your device using iTunes. Also import your photos to your computer and copy all important data if possible. Try restoring from backup first and testing it. If it does not help, you may have to restore as New and reconfigure from scratch as the backup could be corrupted. For this reason it is important to have your photos and data saved separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a Restore:

If the above steps do not help, you may have to have it tested at an Apple store.

Before any of this I did restart by only holding down the power button, but the method you told me to do, using the home and power button worked. I asked my brother to send me texts, and media and now the phone no longer reboots randomly. I have also asked him to call my phone 2 - 3 times to make sure that the rebooting has stopped. It no longer reboots.

Thank you! 🙂
