Q: Apple Music Family Plan

Hi, I had an individual Apple Music account. My family decided to get one and added me to the family account. After being added to their account (with my same Apple ID as before), all of my previous playlists and music saved to my devices from my previous Apple Music account were deleted. Is there a way to fix this? I had a lot of songs saved to my phone from my individual Apple Music account and now they are all gone. Thanks!

    Hello marissanp,

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see that after being added to your family's Apple Music account, all of your previous playlists, and music saved to your devices from your previous Apple Music account have been deleted. I listen to music on the go all the time. So, I know how critical it is to make sure that you have all of your saved music. I can assist you with this.

Please make sure that you have iCloud Music Library enabled. Go to Settings > Music > iCloud Music Library > Toggle on (green).

Additional information on how to see your music library on all of your devices, can be found in this article:

Use your Apple Music membership to get your music on all of your devices

    Enjoy your music!
