Personal Hotspot disconnects??

i am running iOS 9.3.5 and using he hotspot to connect wifi to my other iPhone And iPad.

I Can connect , but In a Minute or two of inactivity, it disconnects from th hotspot.

is this done on purpose? If I try to reconnect, it tells me it cannot connect to the network.

Any suggestions ? I grow to connect phones via Bluetooth but they do not seem to see each other.

my goal is to connect the second device overnight to my iPhone to recieve iMessages when I have no wifi or signal on the second phone.

You will have to have both devices connected to a power source. iOS devices disconnect from any Wi-Fi when sleep and not on power to conserve battery life. Also there is no method to connect iPhones through Bluetooth.

I got new iPhone s plus this month, and I noticed same problem after the update.

the hotspot getting very weak and disconnecting countinusly. I tried all kinds of reset, restart, reconnect with various devices.

If apple not resolving this issue or its dealer not replacing it, then I we'll never buy any product from Apple.

Have you tried the solution that elcpu suggested?

BTW, as we are users here, not Apple, statements like "I we'll [sic] never buy any product from Apple" means nothing to us, and just makes you look silly.

Please try the solution elcpu suggested and let us know if that worked. I'm sure we'll get your problem fixed!
