Q: iOS 9.3.5 Notifications out of order

Since I've upgraded to iOS 9.3.5, I've occasionally had a problem where the notifications are out of order on the lock screen.  See the attached screenshot.

 

My settings for notifications are:

 

Sort order: recent

Group by app: off

    Hello Iironl,

     

    Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities!

     

    It is my understanding you are experiencing an issue with your notifications showing out of order.  I have a suggestion that hopefully will fix that for you.

     

    The first thing we want to do is to make sure you have a current backup of everything on your iPhone.  If you follow this link, you will find instructions on how to do a backup:

    How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes. 

     

    Once the backup is finished, we want to reset all settings. 

     

    Reset All Settings resets preference files that may be having issues. This step will not delete your contacts or photos or any personal information. It does remove all of your preferences for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do No Disturb, Notifications, General, Sounds, Brightness & Wallpaper and Privacy, and removes your Touch ID & Passcode.

     

    You do this by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. 

     

    Once you have done this, test the iPhone and see if the notifications are displaying the way they should.
