How do I view the date of my last OSX update in my Mac?

If it was within the last 30 days, the updates will often (not always) show in the Mac App Store on your updates page, under the heading "updates installed in the last 30 days".
Go to About this mac, click System Report, then Software, then Installations the list contains all items installed.
Click on Install Date to view them chronologically.

i should have been more specific and excluded this option, which I'd already checked...to no avail. But appreciate the reply. It should have worked in theory because the update install was definitely within the last 30 days.
