Q: Mac is shutting down Randomly
My Mac Book Air has recently been shutting down randomly for no reason- sometimes it 2-3 min other times I can be on for an hour or more then it just shuts down. When I restart it most of the time everything is normal but a couple times its asking me to reset my password and I am getting a screen looking like this which I have never seen before.
I hold the power key down to restart and get back to regular log in screen. Can anyone help? The service center told me to hold down some keys and restart but that does not seem to help.

Hi,
Try an SMC reset. Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
