Image capture won't open!

Image Capture won't open for me. I double click and it shows that quick animation as if it is opening but then nothing else happens. I have OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. Can anyone tell me what to try? Do I need to reinstall it and if so, is there a safe site to download from?
