Cannot restore backup, folder says snapshot, no info.plist

User uploaded fileHello there,

I need to restore my iphone 6 to a previous backup, but the backup isn't displayed in the list of available backups in itunes. Only the most recent backup made by itunes of an erased phone is available.

There's some background to this, previously i had a junction in windows 10 (since deleted) that placed all of my backups on removable storage. I've since copied back the backup into the appropriate folder in windows and deleted the junction. Itunes is up to date as is the iphone (9.3.5), the backup was made on IOS 9.3.3.

Also if I remember correctly when the backup was being created, it may have not completed properly. It was stuck on the 4th? final syncing step for a while so I clicked on the x in the status message bar.

I've looked at the backup folder and once i navigate to the approriate backup there's a status.plist listed and one folder called "snapshot". In the snapshot folder there's 12 gigs or so of files.

Is it it still possible to restore from this backup at all (It's the only one I have)? Is any of the data (photos) recoverable?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5, null
