Q: Photos Disappeared Then iPhone is not Booting
Hi all,
I have a problem with my iPhone that I couldn't find an answer to. The photos disappeared suddenly and I wasn't able to view them in Camera Roll. After that the device started to feel slow and I wasn't able to take more pictures. It seemed the internal memory was full. I started to delete apps but that didn't help. I wasn't able to take more pictures.
I had more than 8000 photos. iCloud was disabled. So, I tried using iTunes to backup the photos. However, iTunes couldn't find or recognize the photos and it showed the capacity they're occupying with as Other (orange colored). So I tried to update the iOS to version 9.3.3 hoping it would solve this issue but it crashed before completing the update. After that iTunes wasn't able to recognize the phone. I tried from other computers with no luck.
I read somewhere that the photos database might be corrupted so iOS wasn't recognizing the photos even though they're taking a lot of space.
After some time I faced another problem with this iPhone. I powered on the phone and saw a blue screen right after the Apple logo. The phone won't start at all now. I only get the Apple logo followed by a blue screen.
I tried to to connect it to iTunes in recovery mode, but I get a message like this:
"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone" with error code 0xe8000015.
iPhone 5S 16GB
Version 9.1(13b143)
Model ME434AE/A
At the beginning of the photos problem:
Capacity 11.8 GB
Available 0 bytes
I would really appreciate any method or solution for my problem.
Thanks in advance.

Press the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and hold them for at least 10 seconds.
If this does not help, take a look these Apple Support articles:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support
Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
As a final step, try the recovery mode. Turn your device off, then plug it to your computer with the home button pressed. Keep the Home button pressed until you see the iTunes logo on the screen of your iPhone. After that on your computer you should see the iTunes window saying your iPhone needs to be restored to factory settings. Click on the restore button.
