Q: Cannot open keynote document?
For some reason, I can't open certain keynote documents. They appear as grey while the others that I can open appear black. Any idea why this is happening?

The usual reason for this is they are not Keynote files, therefore Keynote can't open them.
From your screen grab they look like text documents.
To find out what they contain, go to the documents folder using the Finder and double click the files and they will open in there respective applications.
