Q: I have two Ipod touches that were bough from walmart. 1 in November 2015 and 1 in April 2016 and both will not even turn on. Since they havent had them a year can I take them to Apple?

I have two Ipod touches that were bough from Walmart. 1 in November 2015 and 1 in April 2016 and both will not even turn on. I have plugged the into my mac to see if theat would get them to work but it didn't. I was wondering if I could take them to Apple since it hasent been a year yet. Also, I no longer have the receipt for them but I assume Apple has some way of seeing that the device hasn't been in use for a full year.
