Right-click not working after dropping magic mouse

As indicated in the subject line, my wife dropped our Mac's magic mouse...and now the right-click no longer functions unless you push down with a more-than-usual amount of pressure. That and the noticeable click heard when right-clicking is no longer heard. Does anyone have some common troubleshooting steps to try for fixing this issue? I'm hopeful that one of the contact points is just mis-aligned and need to be corrected.

Note that this is a physical problem with the mouse. Everything else still functions normally (left-click, scrolling, connecting via Bluetooth). I just think that something physically happened with the right-click function and am wondering if there's an easy way to dismantle some of the components to see what might be wrong.

Thanks.

Greetings.

I think that in a case like this you should take it to an Apple store or Authorised re-seller and have it assessed. From your excellent description it is still not possible to define what may be wrong. I agree that it is probably a physical thing but from this distance it is not something we can do more than guess at. If there is no outward sign of damage that would certainly indicate a connection problem inside, but that is not something for D I Y.
