Q: iPhone 6 loses audio after operating for 1 week.

This includes even the 'bong' when I plug the charging cord in. Music will not play, except through bluetooth in the car. No apps lock up and the only way to restore is to reboot. Volume control has no affect. Then after about a week it starts all over again. I discussed it with an Apple Specialist at Best Buy and she said it has happened to her phone, too, and she is waiting for an iOS update to fix it. Anybody else??

If a Reset didn't help, try a Restore.

Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10-20 seconds).

If this doesn't help, you might need to Restore your iPhone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184
If your backup is to iTunes, make sure it's an encrypted backup.
