Q: My iPhone headphone jack not connected

headphones not working and I can't hear anything when I connected it into the iphone 5 and the speaker still working .....how can i solve it pleases ????? because this problem make me angry all time

iPhone 5, iOS 9.3.5

yes,it worked on another phone but when i connect it on my iphone .. my iPhone can't recognizing it and the speakers still working

What have you done to troubleshoot? Have you tried different headphones with the phone? What happens?
Have you tried the headphones on another device? What happens?

This will help isolate the problem to either the phone or to the headphones themselves.
