I tried my security questions too many times. How long must I wait to try again??

This isn't the right forum, probably, but I don't see one about security issues.Trying to sign into my account to remove my Apple ID from an older iPhone I want to sell.

I have forgotten the exact answer to one of my security questions on the Apple website.

After trying various versions of the answer unsuccessfully, I've been locked out. I got a message saying to try again later. How long is it until "later"?

iPhone 4S, need to remove my Apple ID

The following gives a vague answer (see below): If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions - Apple Support

You may want to use the link to contact Apple Support instead.

If you need help resetting your security questions, contact Apple Support.

If you answer your security questions incorrectly too many times in a row, you temporarily can't use your security questions. Try to reset your questions after the waiting period ends.
