Q: iCloud status Apple Music is incorrect

I've got about 50+ songs that won't sync to my iPod Classic because they are (incorrectly) showing an iCloud status of Apple Music.

The songs are all music ripped from my own CDs or LP/EPs and imported to iTunes.

I use both iTunes Match and am an Apple Music subscriber. My iTunes version is 12.4.3.1.

Old support articles indicate removing the (song) download and the new download should come thru correctly, but a test of several different songs yield the same incorrect Apple Music iCloud status.

Anyone have a way to correct this?

Thanks,

David

Yes I did have this issue too. I contacted apple support and their engineers reset my library from their end and it solved the problem but there was a few songs that couldn't be reset in which case Apple gave me credit to repurchase the song again and that fixed the issue

bbest thing to do is contact Apple support speak to a manager or senior advisor and explain it to them and you want them to reset your library. You may need to turn iCloud music library off while the reset is happening it worked for me hope it helps
