Q: My guest account doesn't have a dock?

I'm trying to access iMovie on the Guest Account so my mother can borrow it for her work, but while trying to set it up, I have a problem of accessing applications because, as said, there is no dock. I don't know how to access applications or anything besides Safari, which opens automatically after logging in and once exited, signs out. Is this normal? How to I set up a dock or access applications. Thanks in advance for the help.

Open System Preferences > Dock then select:   Automatically hide and show the Dock

Then double click the very bottom of your Mac's screen. The Dock should appear.

Hi Lonesome, you can always access your applications thru keyboard commands.

But first let's try this, boot into Safe Mode and see if the problem still occurs?

    Restart holding the "shift" key.

(Expect it to take longer to start this way because it runs a directory check first. Also give it a little time after start because it runs some maintenance routines in the beginning.)
