Music through car radio no longer works since IOS 9.3.5

Since upgrading to IOS 9.3.5 I am no longer able to access the music on my iPOD Touch G5 from the radio in my 2014 Kia Sorento. This is the case for both Bluetooth and USB cable. Prior to the upgrade there were no problems. Has anyone had similar issues and/or suggestions on how to remedy the problem?
