Q: iPad or iPhone Fonts Print to Large on HP Laserjet 500 Color M551 Printer
One employee had issues printing using either iPhone or iPad. Fonts size on the print out was huge. No one else had the issue. Would think would be his devices? This printer had the optional wireless adapter install so we could use Airprint option. Turned printer off, removed the wireless adapter. Then turn printer on without adapter. I suppose this cleared something in the printer and killed the power to the adapter. Turned printer off again, reinserted the adapter. Turned printer on. Everything printed normally again. I have always believed in turning devices off. However, just turning off the printer, iPhone and iPad was not sufficient. It took removing the wireless adapter to fix the issue. My advice to anyone having similar issues, turn devices off, even removing power cords, Ethernet cables, or external adapters for a few minutes might solve your issues as well. Good Luck!!!
