Q: How do I define paragraph margins in a document

I would like to define paragraph L&R margins in a word processing document, but I only find Document Margins in the Inspector.  If I try and create a new section for paragraphs with the new margins, a page break is created.

Pages Help "Defining Layout Margin" speaks of clicking on the Layout button.  I can not find a Layout button.

Using Pages 5.6.2

select the text > Toolbar > Format > Sidebar > Text > Layout > Indents

Paragraph margins are controlled by the Ruler or the settings in the Sidebar. Drag in the end markers on the Ruler. They can not go outside the Document margins and apply to paragraphs, not pages.

In Pages '09 you can use Layout Breaks to set insets, including top and bottom, over larger areas within pages and over multiple pages.

I was able to adjust the paragraph margin by dragging the margin pinter in the ruler, but where can I find the measurement that I dragged them to?  I also change the alignment to justify left and right.  How can I create a new paragraph style with these new margins and alignment?
