Q: Some server contacts could not be copied to tis address book

The responses cite a step like "Open /var/log/system.log in Vim/Emacs/etc or via Finder", "less /var/log/system.log", "/private/var/log/system.log".  Where do enter these?  I suspect that they a normally hidden files, but I don't know how to make them visible.

I think that at least some of the problem was cured by adding a new (2nd) yahoo account.  I now have a Yahoo Account and a Yahoo! Account.  "Contacts" shows both and they are all not the same contacts.  Not sure why.
