Q: If I report a text to junk, does it automatically block the number from texting me again?

I am receiving text messages 2 to 3 times a day from phone numbers with a country code of +86.  I believe that is China.  There is no option to reply "STOP" to end these texts.  Even if there was, I would be charged international texting fees.  My only options are to report the text to junk or block the phone number/message.  The issue is that every time I receive a text from +86, it's a different number every time.  I have clicked on "Report Junk", but it then deletes the text and I can't block the number without manually adding the phone number into my contacts list.  I don't want to add the number in my contacts list just to then block it.  I have also clicked the "i" button and scrolled down to "block this caller".  However, I believe if I choose to "block this caller", the option to report to junk goes away.

So, I want to know if I choose "Report Junk" (instead of blocking the number), is the number automatically blocked?  It really doesn't matter either way since every text is a new number anyways, but I thought I'd ask.
