My Samsung SmartThings Hub can't update its firmware. Samsung says my port 11111 is blocked.
How do I open port 11111. I am using a cable modem and an AirPort Extreme.
It is even safe to open that port?

By default all inbound ports on the AirPort base stations are blocked.
To open a port, take a look at the following AirPort User tip for the details. Opening any port does comes with some potential inherent risks to the device (in this case the Samsung hub) as a tradeoff.
