different frame rates in multi-clip

I shot a conference with 2 cameras. One is in 29,97i and the other is in 23,98p. I did a multi-clip edit. I notice the movement of the 29,97i camera is jerky. What should I do to correct that ?

If your source video is 30fps and your timeline is 24fps, FCPX is going to throw away 6 frames (12 fields) every second to get the source to conform to the project so, yes, the action can appear a bit jerky. But usually only on horizontal movements like pans and people walking across the frame. As tom suggests, render it. I suggest you view it on the projector, TV set, or display you intend to play it back on
