Aug 31, 2016 8:25 AM in response to Slim Milkby JimmyCMPIT,can you hear it through logic before the playback when not recording. does it drop out as soon as you start recording or does it ever become an audible signal when it's live in logic or is the output coming from somewhere else?

Sep 3, 2016 6:45 AM in response to Pancenterby Slim Milk,Thanks so much for the replies!
I played around and by deselecting the “Input monitoring only for focused track, and record-enabled tracks” checkbox I can now hear the guitar when record is on and while recording. I've read the manual about what that function is supposed to do but really don't understand it! I'm DYING to know what I'm missing. Anyone know why having that checked (which it is set to by default) would cause me not hear a record enabled track? What's it supposed to do? I assume a 'focused track' is the track you have selected?? Screen shots below of the settings and description of the function. Wish I could let these things go and be happy that I can hear the signal- but I can't!!
