Q: gopro contrast

Hi, I was importing low light go pro video and tried to adjust the brightness and saturation, but when I start the playback and stop it, the settings were "flickering". It seems that the adjusted setting applied only a partion of the clips. Any ideas what might cause the problem?

GoPro Hero 4 black with 4K resolution

Mac mini Late 2012 16Gb RAM

iMovie 10.1.1

Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Hi, Jivefunk,

I'm venturing a guess here, but it is possible that your computer is struggling to keep up with the editing of a very high def video, particularly if you have an i5 processor versus a faster i7 processor. That might be what is causing the flicker on playback. The problem may not appear on the final shared out project. Try sharing it out to see.

There might be other reasons for your issue, in which case perhaps others will weigh in.
