My wife and I both have iPhones. Recently when she has been sending messages (iMessage) from her iPhone, the recipient receives the message as if it was sent from me. It happens mostly in group iMessages that I am apart of, which I don't hate because I get credit for her cleverness. But it has happened to new clients of hers as well. Thoughts?
Are you both using and sharing the same apple id for imessage?

can you double check that her apple id isn't enabled in your message settings.
What happens when she send you an imessage?
Does the recipient have the correct number/apple id added to your or your wife's name?

Aug 30, 2016 4:32 PM in response to razmee209by woodyberry,Thanks for the advice. I had checked her phone for message settings, but not mine; However, everything (Apple ID) is appropriate.
I'm thinking it is the latter for one recipient that it is stored incorrectly, but it doesn't make sense for others, who had her contact prior to mine, and my name has been showing up to them.
And when we message each other it is fine. Seems primarily to happen in group messages.
It's a head scratcher.
