Q: Unknown Error (502)

iTunes 12.4.3.1 (on 10.11.6) refuses to download App updates after a few seconds; and stops with 'Unknown Error 502'…

 

This is a fault on Apple's end, isn't it; I've relaunched etc. But there isn't a user workaround, is there?

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), Clean machine... no haxies; no Microsoft etc
