Q: alarm clock setting for destination rather than time

I came up with an idea for the alarm clock app today. Rather than being able to set a specific time, why not be able to set a place (i.e. intersection of Main and 1st, I-5 Ext #142, etc.) This would be great for people that ride a bus and may have fallen asleep and then miss their stop.

Most Bus/Trains has schedule (time table) that you can see roughly when you will arrive at a destination.
Use that to set the alarm.

Location-based alerts have been part of iOS since version 8.

To enable them go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > turn on Location-Based Alerts. Note that when on, your battery life will be shorter.

Yes, they do, but my afternoon bus is known to run slow when it gets in traffic. So, the time of arrival at its destination can vary 10 - 20 minutes.

Instead of setting an alarm, I would set a Reminder from the Reminder app.
