FCP Export to BluRay fails at 0 to 6%
Trying to export a BluRay with 5.1 audio and FCP freezes up at 0 to 6% every time.
Anyone know a fix for this?
I have MacPro with 10.11.4 and FCP 10.2.3.

What I do sometimes is export to ProRes instead, then use Compressor to encode it to Blu-ray. If you don't have Compressor, you could put the exported ProRes back on the timeline and then export it and see if that works. Otherwise, try deleting all generated files (maybe there is a problem with an early frame of video in your sequence). Generally though I find exporting as a Master File to be the most reliable way to export, then using that file to encode to Blu Ray.
First of all, whenever there is a crash, it is a good idea to clear the preferences (hold command and option at start and confirm).
Second, try a new small project. If that exports ok, you'll know it is something specific to your project - maybe bad media, bad render files, etc; so delete render files, try again; try just a portion of your project by setting an IN and OUT point. (Note: no need to waste bluray discs, export with destination set to your hard drive; this is always a good ideas as you can keep the disk image and burn extra copies as needed without reexporting).
If you find that other projects export but not this one, create a new project, copy everything and paste, and try with the new one. Sometimes projects become corrupt.
