Q: mac charger broken

Dear Community members

I need your help.

My friend is accusing me about her mac charger being broken because i have wrapped it around itself while it was cold {like the image below - although the one below is not a mac charger}. She says that i have to pay for its replacement.

Is it any Apple expert who can help me and advise of what i have to do. She has that mac for a very long time and now i have to pay for her charger? When we get the new devices, always the charger is wrapped around itself - as i do remember.

Looks unfair to me.

Please, please advise

I have about 30 chargers in storage that I have wrapped that way. I never have a problem when I need to use them.

Here is what Apple says about how to wrap cables : Mac notebooks: Reducing cable strain on your MagSafe power adapter - Apple Support

Of course, the age of the cable is relevant, in the sense that what you did might only be the straw that broke the camel's back.
