my Macbook pro has got wifi issues. I cannot connect to internet via wifi and i took it to Cranfield university IT support and they said it has no visible issue and suggested me to take it to Apple to be checked. Any help? Thanks

My wifi keeps searching but do not get anything, I took it to IT support at cranfield university...they checked and could not see any issue and suggested me to take it to Apple for further investigations. My big issue My Apple care had expired and has just became a student and cannot afford the repairs and My macbook pro is everything for me to do what I have to do...Any help out there would be appreciated

you could try the following which is free

1-reset the SMC/PMU

2- zap the pram

3-see if you can delete the wifi network and add it in again

Instructions on how to do this can be found on Apple's website or if you're lazy like me, Google or yahoo can work OK

(look up "how to reset SMC/PMU on Macbook Pro" and "zap pram on MacBook Pro"....hopefull either or both of these suggestions might help you. Worth a try, I guess

good luck to you
