I Have music files in 3 devices with all 3 containing different songs. 1) an old iphone 3s 2) an iPad and 3) the iTunes library accessed from a PC. What is the best way to update music files so that all 3 devices have the same complete music lists?

    Hello Imhess712gmailcom,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand from your post that you would like to make the libraries on your iPhone, iPad and your iTunes Library from your PC show the same complete music library. I know how important it is for you to be able to organize your music on your devices. iOS devices like your iPhone and your iPad only have a one-way sync from iTunes on your PC to the device. If the devices were synced with another iTunes Library other than your current PC, the music currently on them will be replaced with the music currently in your iTunes Library on your PC.

If the music was purchased from the iTunes Store on your iPhone or iPad, you can download that music to iTunes on your PC using these steps:

Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer

Alternatively, if you are an Apple Music subscriber you can add music from your own collections to Apple Music using these steps:

Add music from your own collection to your Apple Music library

    Best Regards
