Q: iphone 6 switch off at 50% of battery

hello folks

i have iphone 6 64gb

for weeks my iphone switch off at 50% of battery life and when i pug in the charger phone startup with 50%/51% of charging and if suddenly i pugout the charger iphone again switch off please help

my phone is already updated with 9.3.5

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5, 64 gb

    Hello namresh997,

     

    Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

     

    It is my understanding that your iPhone 6 is shutting down while showing 50% battery life.  I will do everything I can to help you with this.

     

    The first thing we want to do is to make sure you have a current backup of everything on your iPhone. Nothing I am going to suggest should cause any data loss, but it is always a good idea to have a backup.  If you follow this link, you will find instructions on how to do a backup:
    How to backup your devices using iCloud or iTunes

     

    Please be sure that you are using only an Apple charger and cable when charging the iPhone.

     

    Once the backup is finished, I would suggest to reset all settings. 

     

    Reset All Settings resets preference files that may be having issues. This step will not delete your contacts or photos or any personal information. It does remove all of your preferences for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do No Disturb, Notifications, General, Sounds, Brightness & Wallpaper and Privacy, and removes your Touch ID & Passcode.

     

    You do this by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. 

     

    Once you have done this, test the iPhone and if it performs as expected.

    I had the same problem on my iphone 6 plus.  Then I deleted the photos and Apps, then did backup all my data, then made Erase all setting. Finally my phone was back to normal. I realized that it is not battery issue. Check your usage, Apps and photos etc. first. Hope solve your problem.

    i tried as you game me instractions

    i complated reset all settinngs but the problem is same 

    please help me

    i charge my phone for 2 hours for 100% battrey

    after that i use my phone for 6/8 hours with internet and calls but battery remains same at 100% after that battery starts draining and at 60% of battery level phone goes off and ask for plug in the charger. if i plug in the change phone start with 60% of battery level
