System will not allow me to update?
Since the notification on update it won't allow me to update. OS X El Capitan v 10.11.6 Update 2016-004, what can I do?
Log into your computer with an administrative account
go to the app store
click UPDATE for the listing pertaining to OS 10.11.6
falling that QUIT of the App Store
go to the Terminal (Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/Terminal)
type
open $TMPDIR../C/
and press return
delete the folder
com.apple.applestore
reopen App Store
download 10.11.6
