I Have purchased otterbox drop proof case for iphone6s plus. However, i need to know whether it will hold the heat emissions while charging and doest it affect the battery life of iphone. I have seen the apple website also recommends otterbox case. Please clarify.

Apple advises that charging your iPhone whilst it is inside certain styles of case may generate excess heat, which can adversely affect the battery capacity.
If you notice that your iPhone gets hot when you charge it, remove it from the case before charging.
More information:
Generally speaking, the iPhone should not produce any noticeable heat while charging.
If your iPhone is getting hot while charging there is something wrong and needs to be addressed.
With that said, the Otterbox case should have no effect on charging or the battery life at all.
