Q: Is there any guarantee after replacement?

Hello Apple fans - I am too nevertheless,

I would like to know your opinion whether apple guarantees also replacement for free after I have replaced my video card for the same one after the 3 months maintenance / repair service guarantee Apple provides? it is rather strange that I have to pay 700 EUR according to my local apple service provider  for old and not working HW technology being at the same time at risk of having again directly after those 3 months to pay again 700 EUR for another replacement. Is it possible that Apple for these cases to arrange other repair service contracts terms?

Kind regards and Thx for your suggestions,

    Dear R Kaufmann 87,

I agree but I am unfortunately not having the right entrance. If you have pls can you provide me the rights channels to solve this issue?

You can imagine that I am not very amused - despite I am a normally joyful person. Think of one buying a car to last for let say 10 years and midway you have to replace your engine and pay at least a quarter of the purchase price to get it driving again?

Kind regards and thx in advance for your support,

    Alfons.

I have a few ideas including:

    • Approach the AASP that did the work and ask them for Apple's customer vice or customer advocate contact information.
    • Contact the local Apple Store and ask for Apple's customer advocate information
    • At the bottom of the www.Apple.com site, click Apple's "Contact Us" link.
