Q: sd card

is it possible to import my whole iTunes library to an sd card,so i can choose albums and listen, in my car ??

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

    Going to depend on a few things. One, the size of the SD card, will it hold your entire library. Next, do you have an audio device that accepts an SD card. Next, what file type is necessary for the audio device to read. Lastly, is the media on your computer that type of file, and to make sure they are not DRM.

     

    It should work after you check on all of that and make sure it complies with what is necessary.

    hi chris,forgive me for my lack of understanding,i'm relatively new to computing....ive bought a new 128g sd card and card reader...the stereo in the car I've recently purchased has two sd slots.. the manual says it is mp3/wma/aac ...how do i check if they are DRM???

    If the songs are old in iTunes, they could be DRM. That means Digital Rights Management, or a copyright protection. If they are, they wouldn't play in the vehicle. Also, if they are Apple Music, the subscription service, they would not play in the vehicle. However, if they are not, given the specs that you describe, any non-DRM music should play.
