Q: Ipod Nano 7th Generation, suddenly completely unable to connect to Nike for uploading of runs

I called Apple support who were unable to help. I have now tried 2 Nano's & get the same result.

I get a message saying that I can't connect to Nike when I sync in an attempt to upload my workout run from the treadmill.

Never had an issue before, but then updated my Mac to El Capitan.

Any other frustrated runners using iPod Nano have the same issue?

This problem seems to have started when the Nike+ web site received a major overhaul.  It now looks completely different.  I like the old design better; inexplicably, the new version does not supply as much information, so it's less useful.

In my case, I get this error message initially when syncing iPod

Syncing stops while this message is displayed.  When I click OK, syncing continues, and then I get the familiar confirmation message.

When I Visit, the new workout data is not immediately shown (the previous workout is shown).  However, after a few minutes, if I refresh the browser window, the new data is there.

Nike definitely made changes to how things work at their end, to mess this up for iPod nano users.
