iPod Nano 6th Gen - Tuning FM reception for TV

I have a 6th generation iPod Nano.

I want to use the FM receiver to hear the TV when I am working out at the local gym. Each TV has a specific posted FM setting.

The Nano works perfectly for receiving local radio stations (scanned by the Nano). However, I only pick up static when I tune to the specific TV FM settings.

Is there a "fix" for this?

Is there an after market item?

Anything?
