Q: Voice recognition on iTouch 5

When interacting with family and friends I almost always utilize the built in voice recognition on my iTouch5 with regularly updated software.  I have used Dragon products for >15 yrs during my work years so I know what good recognition is all about, the importance of background interference, volume control, enunciation, etc.  Technically, I am adept.  The issue is poor recognition AND at times very sloooowwww response with processing.  It's very annoying. Now, I do have the Dragon Mobile app and also use it for long discussions.  That app is awesome and is nearly as good as the desktop specialty Dragon Products.  I just don't like having to make extra steps to get it into Notes or emails.  It's not perfect with recognition but it's 90% better than the VR built-in to the iTouch 5.  I'm really impressed when I can quote an author like Siddartha Muhkarjee and it comes out letter perfect!!!  Conversely, simple words like "accept" vs "except" are invariably incorrect with absolutely critcal phonation/enunciation in a quiet environment, etc with the iTouch VR.  There are MANY examples.  Is there any way I can "tune/train" the VR built in to the iTouch 5?  If it's the same programming code as Siri, I would understand why there are so many errors. Siri has a 50-60% accuracy for me in recognizing what I ask. I once asked a basic question and was provided the weather in some remote Russian outback!!!  Repeated the question and got the same drivel!  Siri does ok with opening apps and such.  Anyone with any words of wisdom about using VR with the iTouch 5?  Should I expect nothing more with the current state of the art from Apple development?  Should I just go ahead and buy a device with an Android o/s??   ;>)  Ray
