My MacBook Pro HD is full and will not boot completely. I transferred everything to an external HD and all was successful besides the majority of my iMovie videos. I received an error message about files needing to to be relinked. Please help! These are all videos of my kiddos 1st through 3rd bdays, vacations, etc.

What version of iMovie are you using? How is your external drive formatted. Needs to be MAC OS Extended journaled. Sounds like your move corrupted some clips or the drive format is not MAC OS.
I will check what version I am using. I am not sure about it being MAC OS EJ...how do I find this out? Thank you tremendously!
You can find the format by selecting the external drive in the finder and type command i. This will open the info window and you can find the format shown.
