Aug 31, 2016 2:15 PM in response to stedman1by NevadaJimbo,I have been using WiFi all along. One of the first attempts at solving the problem was to recycle my WiFi connection. Then recycled the whole phone, back to out of the box condition. Still no joy.

Aug 31, 2016 2:19 PM in response to NevadaJimboby ChrisJ4203,★HelpfulWhat happens? Are you able to actually activate FaceTime, or does it still show Waiting for Activation? If it does activate and you attempt a call, what is the exact text of the error you are seeing?

Aug 31, 2016 2:18 PM in response to NevadaJimboby stedman1,Sorry, I saw your reference to AT&T, and assumed you were attempting to connect over cellular data.
Have you verified that the time and date are set correctly in the iPhone?

Aug 31, 2016 2:22 PM in response to NevadaJimboby ChrisJ4203,Then it isn't going to work. If it will not show activated, it isn't going to work. I'm guessing that it has to do with your pay as you go account. With that account, it probably will not allow the international SMS necessary for the activation of FaceTime. You can call AT&T and ask them, but I'll bet that is the issue.
