Can one use migration assistant again to copy the same user folder.
Lets say I use MA to transfer from office to home computer. Can I repeat the process at a later date or would it say files already exist?

MA will only create a new user account. It never overwrites and existing one.
Yes, but you may not be able to if FileVault is enabled for it.
If you do so, it'll create a different user account.
