What version of the OS and of iPhoto do you have? What is the source of the photos? Will they open correctly in Preview? Have you tried using the import command (file menu ==> import)?

I can preview all photo correctly.

That is abit ambiguous. Can the Preview application open them if you double-click the JPEG file on your Desktop to open them in Preview?

The Photos for Mac application has an Import command in the File menu in the main menu bar.

    File > Import

This command will open a File Chooser panel where you can select the folder with the photos you want to import.

Are your JPEGs greyed out in this dialog panel or can you open them?

    As a Test:

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'

Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

    Post back with the result.
