Notification Center Messages Disappearing

Notification Center Messages Disappearing

My iMessage/text message previews in the notification center are disappearing even though I have neither opened the message nor even opened the message app - is there a way to fix this problem? I should also specify that it is only the text message/iMessage notifications, my other notifications are fine.

I am running the most recent version of iOS and have an iPhone 6. This problem started happening a month or so ago and is driving me nuts 🙂 🙂

Hello juliabro7,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with notifications on your iPhone is not what you expect. Based on what you stated, you may want to switch to a different type of notification for your Messages app, such as an Interactive alert. I personally had to do this with a certain email account on my iPhone, so hopefully this resolves your issue:
