How much will Apple pay for my Macbook Pro 2015 with Retina Display?

My macbook pro isn't even a year old. I bought it on October 22, 2015. I have an appt. with apple this saturday because there is a small red horizontal line on my screen. it's only visible when i'm watching a movie or when the screen is darker. My friend traded in his iPhone 6s for a new one and only payed 300 instead of the full 650. Would apple do the same with my macbook pro? I want to know if its possible to trade in mine for a new one of the same model, i have the box it came in, the charger and both wall adaptors.
