Q: Ipod Nano 7th Gen won't connect to my laptop
I can connect my iPod to my old laptop but that laptop is dying quickly. I try to connect my iPod to my new laptop and it disconnects instantly. I've tried uninstalling Itunes and all the stuff on the help page that itunes provides. I don't think it's a problem with itunes, it must be my laptop. I have attached a photo to help. The 'ADMINSTRAT' folder disappears after about 2 seconds and then my ipod disconnects completely. (I've tried many different USB leads and all USB ports)
iPod nano, Windows 10, null

If you already tried uninstalling iTunes, you should follow this procedure to completely remove iTunes and related software components
Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later - Apple Support
Be sure to uninstall the various components in the exact order shown. Then install the latest version of iTunes from the Apple download
Also, if your old laptop, which has all of your iTunes data, is "dying," you should back it up and transfer your complete iTunes library to the new laptop. The procedure is to copy your iTunes folder (after consolidating your iTunes data) to an external drive, then replace the iTunes folder on the new laptop with the iTunes folder from the old laptop (from the external drive).
