How do I change the recommended news feed?

I'm not interested in the left-wing news feed that Apple insists on bombarding my devices with. I've tired changing the feed by muting certain news providers... Didn't work, I've tried favoriting others... Didn't work, and I've tried going through settings as someone had suggested and that too didn't work. Im really getting frustrated with Apple at this point. Does anyone know of a way to change the news feed?

-Thank you

Hi

The Search screen shows trending news items based on your location.

If you would prefer to turn this feature off, go to: Settings > General > Spotlight Search - turn off News.

If you would like to suggest that Apple adds options to exclude and/or specify preferred news sources (similar to adding favourites for the News app), you can submit feedback here:
