iPad Air Keyboard: Space Bar Does not work

I am writing this on my desktop. My Ipad Air with Apple keyboard is only 4 months old but the space bar has been working only intermittently. I have turned it off and restarted many times and the problem keeps recurring. Please help!

If you bought these new from an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Retailer, they are still in warranty. Return to your place of purchase with proof of purchase and request warranty assistance.
